Belgesel Sinemanın Doğruya Ulaşma Yolları

Abstract

Gerçek, bilinçten bağımsız olarak varolan ya da düşünülen, tasarımlanan, imgelenen şeylere karşıt olarak varolandır. Gerçeklik ise bilenden, bilinçten bağımsız olarak varolan şeylere ilişkin bir özelliktir. İşte bu varolanın özne tarafından algılanmasıyla birlikte, varolan, özne için bir nesne konumuna gelir. Nesneden özneye doğru hızlı bir bilgi akışı başlar. Bu bilgi akışı sonucunda bilinçte oluşan, nesnenin bir kopyası değil, imgesidir. Belgesel filmin de “gerçekliğin yaratıcı biçimde işlenmesi/yorumlanması” biçiminde tanımlandığı anımsanacak olunursa, buradaki gerçek; özneden bağımsız olarak varolan gerçek ya da gerçeklik değil, nesnedeki özelliklerin öznedeki imgesidir, denebilir. Bir başka söyleyişle sanatçı, algıladığı nesneye ait yapı özelliklerinden hareket ederek bilincinde bir imge yaratır. Belgesel filmin ele aldığı da, bu imge ve bu imgeye ait özelliklerdir. Öznede oluşan imgenin, tasarımın, yargının, düşüncenin kısaca bilgi oluşumunun nesneye uygunluğu da bizi doğru kavramına götürür. Doğrunun elde edilmesi sırasında izlenmesi gereken yol ise bilimsel yöntemdir. Bilimsel bir araştırmanın inanırlığını sınamaya yarayan en temel iki ölçütün ise geçerlik ve güvenirlik olduğu düşünüldüğünde, bu çalışmada geçerli ve güvenilir bir bilimsel araştırma gerçekleştirmek için alınması gereken önlemler tartışılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Real exists independent from conscience or contrary to the things thought, designed, imaged. When one remembers that documentary film is defined as the treatment/interpretation of reality in a creative manner”, it could be said that the real here, is not a real or reality existing independently from the subject, but the image of the properties of the object in the subject. In other words, setting out from the construction properties of the object he/she perceives, the artist creates an image in her/his conscience. What the documentary film takes up is this image and the properties belonging to it. The image, design, judgment, opinion constituted in the subject, shortly convenience of the constitution of knowledge to the object, leads us to the truth. The course that needs to be followed during the process of reaching the truth is the scientific method. When considering that two major criteria to test the trustworthiness of a scientific research are validity and reliability, the necessary measures to be taken in order to realize a viable and reliable scientific research, have been tried to be discussed in this paper.
