İbn Haldun'da tarih-umran ilişkisi

Abstract

Bu yazı, 13 Mart 2009 tarihinde Istanbul Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Felsefe Anabilim Dalı'na sunulan Doktora tez çalışmasının bir bölümünün dönüştürülmesi sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır ve büyük ölçüde söz konusu teze dayanmaktadır. Yazıda, tarihin ve ümranın karşılıklı ilişkilerinin Mukaddime ekseninde anlaşılması ve İbn Haldun düşüncesinde tarih ve umranm örtü-şüp örtüşmediğinin sorgulanması yönünde bir deneme olarak tasarlanmıştır. Ayrıca, sorgulanan bu ilişki bağlamında, İbn Haldun düşüncesinin de katkıda bulunabileceği, olanaklı tarih felsefesi çalışmalarında göz önünde bulundurulması yararlı olabilecek bazı soruların da gündeme gerek görülmüştür.

This' article is a result of the transformation of a chapter of the Ph.D. Dissertation defended on March 13, 2009, at the Philosophy Department of the Graduate Institute of Social Sciences, at Istanbul University, and, for the most, is based on the mentioned dissertaiton. It is an attempt to understand the mutual relation of history and umran in Ibn Khaldun's Muqaddimah, as well as, to answer the question whether history and umran perfectly reconcile. Another attempt, witihn the context of the former one, is to raise some questions for further studies in the philosophy of history, to which Ibn Khaldûn's thought may contribute.
