These course books are: “Hier sind wir” and “Themen aktuell”. “Hier sind wir” is a foreign language textbook for younger learners that are used in the secondary schools. The coursebook has been developed by a German and two Turkish experts in Turkey on behalf of the National Education Ministry. “Themen aktuell” is a popular main and supplementary material in Turkey, which has been prepared in Germany by German experts. It has been expected that the presentation of the particles in these two textbooks will be different. Finally, the presentation of particles and how they are dealt in these course books will be described and discussed. The importance and the need of integrating German experts in the development of coursebook materials will be emphasized. The necessity of the explaining grammatical rules of these particles in the regional course books will be pointed out.
