dc.description.abstractDay by day Turkish education system is interacting with those of the other countries more and more by exchanging students and teachers and maintaining the equivalence in the education curricula. Moreover, for Turkey, in the process of joining the EU, to be able to benefit from the education systems of European Union member states, it is crucial that it be familiar and harmonious with their education systems. For this reason, in this study it is aimed at analyzing the teacher training systems of Baltic countries, whose education system is mentioned very little though being EU members, and compare and contrast their teacher training systems with the one in Turkey. As a result of the study, it can be said that teacher training in Baltic countries and Turkey are similar in terms of various aspects.en_US
