Man Ray, rayogram tekniği ve resim sanatında değişimler

Abstract

Fotoğrafın sanat dünyasına girmesi ile birlikte görünen gerçek birebir yansıtılmaya başlamış ve resim sanatı artık farklı arayışlar içerisine girmek zorunda kalmıştır. Klasik resim algısının kırılmaya başladığı dönemlerde dada ile birlikte kolaj tekniği sanat tarihinde yerini almış gerçeküstücü yaklaşımı benimseyen sanatçıların kolaj, fotomontaj vb çalışmalar ortaya çıkarmasında fotoğraf yeni bir ifade biçimi olarak alternatif bir yol göstermiştir. Ressamlar, fotoğrafın sadece kopyalama ve çoğaltma üzerine teknik bir anlayışı benimsemesi yerine, çalışmalarında sanatsal bir ifade aracı olarak kullanılmasını tercih etmişlerdir. Fotoğraf sanatında da gerçeküstü bir yaklaşım oluşmaya başlamış ve Man Ray keşfetmiş olduğu Rayogram tekniği ile farklı anlatım biçimleri ortaya koymuştur. Resimsel bir etkiye sahip olan bu teknik gerçeküstü fotoğraf tekniğinin de temellerini atmıştır.

When photography emerged in the world of art, visible reality started to be refected directly and the art of painting had to search for new approaches. During the periods when classical understanding of painting was challenged, the collage technique was introduced together with dada and photography opened up new perspectives for the collage and photomontage works of those artists, who accepted the expressionist approach. Te painters preferred to use photography as a medium of artistic expression rather than a technical approach for copy and reproduction. Terefore an expressionist approach emerged in the art of photography and Man Ray developed diferent forms of expression using the Rayograph technique, which is his own discovery. Tis technique, which also has a painterly efect, laid the foundations of the expressionist photography technique.
