Dokunun duyumsanması

Abstract

Bu araştırma temel tasarım ilke ve elemanlarından biri olan ‘doku’ kavramının anlamı, doku çeşitleri ve doğal-yapay dokuları kullanan bazı sanatçı resimlerinin incelenmesi ve dokunun duyumsanması konusunu açıklamaya yönelik bir çalışmadır. Literatür taraması sonucu elde edilen verilerde doku-yüzey, birim-bütün ilişkisine değinilerek, dokunun duyumsanması konusu Worringer ve Deleuze’nin “duyumsama” tanımlarına dayanarak açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Doğal- yapay, sert-yumuşak yüzeyler ile dokunun insan üzerindeki yarattığı genel duygusal etkiler işlenmiştir. Gerçek dokuyu daha iyi anlamak için Anselm Kiefer’in çalışma tekniği ile, yapay dokuyu daha iyi anlamak için hipergerçekçi sanatçı Ralph Goings ve trompe l’oeil resimleri, mozaikler ya da dijital doku örnekleri verilerek incelenmiştir.

This research aims to explore the meaning of ‘texture’, as one of the basic design principles and elements, and the texture types. It also aims to investigate the paintings of some artists’ using natural - artificial textures, and to explain touch sensation. Texture-surface is tried to be explained on the basis of the definition of “sensation” of Worringer and Deleuze, emphasizing the relation of unit-whole by using the data obtained after the literature search. The natural-artificial, hard-soft surfaces and the general emotional effects created by the touch on the human are processed. In order to better understand the real texture, the work technique of Anselm Kiefer is examined. As for the artificial texture, the hyper-realist artist Ralph Goings and trompe l’oeil paintings, mosaics or digital textures are examined.
