Açıköğretim Fakültesi Sosyal Bilimler Önlisans Programının Öğrenci Görüşlerine Göre Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Eğitim programlarını değerlendirme ve geliştirme süreci, bir programın tasarlanması, geliştirilmesi, denenmesi (test edilmesi), uygulanması, değerlendirilmesi ve düzeltilmesini kapsayan sistematik ve dinamik bir süreçtir. Okullarda uygulanan eğitim programlarının etkililiğini, başarısını ve sürdürülebilirliğini belirlemede program değerlendirme çalışmaları önemli bir yer tutar. Eğitimde program değerlendirme uygulamaları, program geliştirme sürecinde programın yönetici ve yürütücülerine program öğeleri hakkında detaylı bilgi verirken aynı zamanda programın en temel bileşenlerinden biri olan öğrencilere, programın geliştirilmesi sürecinde aktif rol vermesi noktasında da önemlidir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, 2015 senesinde tamamlanan “Açıköğretim Fakültesi Sosyal Bilimler Önlisans Programı’nın Değerlendirilmesi ve Geliştirilmesine Yönelik Öneriler” başlıklı doktora tezi sonuçlarına göre ilgili kurumun program geliştirme önerilerine göre yaptıkları yenilikleri tanımlamaktır. Bu çalışma betimsel tarama çalışmasıdır. Araştırma verilerine ilgili doktora tezinden elde edilen sonuçlar ve ilgili kurumun kurumsal web sayfası incelenerek ulaşılmıştır. Doktora tezinden elde edilen sonuçların büyük bir kısmının kurum yöneticilerince dikkate alınarak iyileştirmelerin yapıldığı görülmektedir. İyileştirmelerin açıköğretim kitapları, sınav sistemi ve e-öğrenme malzemeleri üzerinde oldukça belirgin olduğu görülmüştür.

Evaluation and development process of Educational programs is a systematical and dynamic process covering the design, development, evaluation, implementation, testing and fixing of a program. Program evaluation studies is of an important place in determining the effectiveness, success and sustainability of programs implemented in schools. Program evaluation applications in education give detailed information about the components of the program to program managers and executers in the process of developing program. And it is also important as it gives an active role to the students who constitutes one of the most basic components in the process of development. The purpose of this research is to describe the innovations that the relevant institution has made according to the results of doctoral dissertation titled "Modification and Development of the Associate Degree Program in Social Sciences at the Open Education Faculty'' completed in 2015. The study is a descriptive scanning work. Research data has been reached by the respective results derived from doctoral thesis and by examining the web page of concerned institution. It is seen that improvements have been made in the majority of the results obtained from doctoral thesis according to considerations of institution managers. It has been resulted that improvements are fairly obvious on open education books, examination system and e-learning materials.
