Observer-Based Stabilization of Time-Delay Systems: An Application to Diesel Engine
Abstract
Observer-based stabilization of a general class of linear time-invariant dynamic systems with time-delays is considered. A recently developed non-smooth optimization based method is used to design the observer-based controller. The proposed stabilization method is then applied to a linear model of a diesel engine which involves time-delay.
