dc.description.abstractObserver-based stabilization of a general class of linear time-invariant dynamic systems with time-delays is considered. A recently developed non-smooth optimization based method is used to design the observer-based controller. The proposed stabilization method is then applied to a linear model of a diesel engine which involves time-delay.en_US
