Özet
This research has been undertaken to reveal and demonstrate that 'education of art' is not being fully utilized in the field of 'special education', yet. Not defined, yet, in the field of special education, education of art is not considered as atol within the present situation. Following this concern, some equivalent student groups are formed in a primary school which gives special education to the students with mental disordes, in anursery school, and finally in a public primary school. With these group s two different activities are aplied. First students are wanted to drow pictures out of the story told. Secondly students ar elet free to drow whatever they want. These studies are evaluated according to some visual İnfluence elements like lines, sports, stains, colors; also, participating students' behaviors are monitored. At the end of this procedure some behaviors like self confidense, self deficition, reinforcement in their cognitive perceptions are pinpointed as the behaviors that students, who need special education, should have. To achive these behaviors; education of art as a tool should be considered as main, only this way, we can find the opportunity to utilize from education of art, in field of special education.
