dc.description.abstract | Aim of this study is to determine the relationship between students’ learning styles and learning strategies in an online learning environment. Data regarding students’ learning styles were collected by using the Kolb Learning Styles Inventory. Data related to students’ learning strategies were gathered by using Learning Strategies Scale, developed by the researcher based on Weinstein and Mayer’s (1986) classification. Analyses of the survey data included both descriptive and inferential statistics including means, standard deviations, Independent sample t-Test, One Way ANOVA, eta correlation coefficient and reliability estimates for the whole sample. Findings of the research show that the use of learning strategies is not related to learning styles. Online learners use learning strategies at sufficient level | en_US |
