dc.description.abstract | Design is a creative process, consisting of decisions for reaching certain aims which requires continuous learning and thinking in order to define and solve the problem. Knowledge, which is learned in this process, causes a change on "a priori" knowledge and then the new is formed. Through this synthesis it is possible to approach the problem with different points of view and recreate physical-intellectual relationships by diversifying the ways of seeing. So, design education should adopt a pedagogic approach to get individual who will be able to use intellectual skills in creative and transformative ways and have the previsions and implications on new conditions in context while solving design problems. This approach definitely requires a studio, a diversified learning environment that should consider the students as active participants in the design process based on creativity, investigation, imagination instead of seeing them as inactive receivers. The scope of this study is explaining our constructivist studio environment through defining "Being Exhibited: Object & Space" application process with the results of the project examples | en_US |
