Elements like belief, tradition, method of thinking, which constitute the content of cultural phenomena, are also considered among the most important factors in the existence of art. Therefore, cultural items and art are not considered independent. Religious phenomenon, having a prominent power among cultural items, has spread to all areas of India. Taking this into consideration, today India is one example that still preserves the relationship between religion and art, which is worth researching. In this context, Hinduism is one of the oldest religions where clay material is often used. Even today, the terracotta temples which still exist are considered the most concrete examples of this situation in Hinduism. In this study, terracotta temples created under the influence of Hinduism will be examined with examples.en_US
