dc.description.abstractRobust stabilization of linear time-invariant retarded time-delay systems with multiple uncertain time-delays is considered. Besides stabilization, minimization of the spectral abscissa for the worst time-delays is also aimed in order to obtain the best guaranteed exponential decay rate. A minimax game problem is formulated in order to design a static output feedback controller which robustly stabilizes the system and achieves the best guaranteed exponential decay rate. Algorithms to solve this minimax problem are then proposed. A number of examples are also presented in order to demonstrate the proposed approachen_US
