Optimization of Hydrothermal Pretreatment Parameters for Glucose and Xylose Recovery From Poppy Stalks
Özet
Response surface methodology (RSM) was employed to optimize hydrothermal pretreatment conditions for glucose and xylose recovery from poppy stalk, with respect to temperature (120-200oC), solid to liquid ratio (0.05-0.20) and pretreatment time (5-60 min). While experimental maximum glucose recovery of 628.20 mg glucose/g initial cellulose was achieved at condition of 200 degrees C, 0.200 g/ml of solid to liquid ratio and 32.5 min, maximum experimental xylose recovery (130.12 mg/g initial xylose) was at the conditions of 160 degrees C, 0.125 g/ml of solid to liquid ratio and 32.5 min.
