Modern age of analytical chemistry: Nanomaterials
Özet
Nanoscience and nanotechnology have created revolutionary trends in many areas, including analytical chemistry. Nanomaterials have gained great attention from many researchers as they display unique properties such as high physical and chemical stability, versatile chemistry for the functionalization, and high surface area. These unique materials have been successfully used as analytical tools in nanotechnological applications. In addition, the use of nanomaterials as analytes is also widely used because of the analytical control of a wide variety of samples. The analytical chemistry for nanomaterials is a scientific discipline that is responsible for providing reliable and accurate information. In this chapter, the history and present of nanotechnology and analytical chemistry is explained and the future place of analytical chemistry with the use of nanotechnology is also mentioned. © 2020 Elsevier Inc. Recent Progress of Imprinted Nanomaterials in Analytical Chemistry
Keçili, Rüstem; Hussain, Chaudhery Mustansar (Hindawi LTD, 2018)Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) are a type of tailor-made materials that have ability to selectively recognize the target compound/s. MIPs have gained significant research interest in solid-phase extraction, catalysis, ... -
Green synthesis of iron nano-materials by plants and their use in removal of pollutants from wastewaters - a review
Öğütveren, Ülker Bakır; Öğütveren, Muzaffer (Desalination Publ, 2017)Nano-materials are defined as structured components with dimensions ranging from approximately 1-100 nm. Because a smaller mass of material has increased specific surface area compared with conventional macroscale materials ... -
Micro total analysis systems with nanomaterials
Keçili R.; Büyüktiryaki S.; Hussain C.M. (Elsevier, 2019)Micro total analysis systems (µTAS) that have emerged in the recent years and applied for fluid processing in a microchannel structure at microliter levels are alternatives to the conventional methods. Owing to the unique ...
