dc.description.abstract | One of dervish lodge-mystical connoisseurs making contribution to the development of the Ottoman poetry and art is Ibrahim Gulseni. His mystical identity shaped in Tabriz matured at Gulseni Dervish Lodge in Cairo. Gulseni Dervish Lodge in Cairo became a center of attraction for many people trained in both Anatolia and Rumelia. Lots of poems and musiclovers going into action at different regions of the Ottoman region after having a mystical training at Guseni Dervish Lodge, one of the Ottoman cultural centers of that period, like Yenice, Edirne, Bursa, Istanbul and Gelibolu were brought up. Gulseni poets and musiclovers set up good relations with Mevlevi and Hurufi environments and made contributions to the Ottoman art in an interdependent manner. | en_US |
