dc.description.abstract | Primary education is the period when basic skills and education are given, ince personalities start to be shaped at tihis stage. This period plays key role in achieving national and international values, awakening the cultural awareness, and having a strong connection between the person and society. Only with carefully prepared teaching program could it be possible to bring up persons who love his nation, nationality, country, citizens and family, who saves and develops national, humanistic, moral and cultural values. To bring up such generations, who have achieved universal values and internalized national values, it is important to make use of poets and philosophers who have been giving messages of peace, tolerance and love since centuries in Anadolia, the cradle of civilization. This will help the children, the youngsters to be closer to their own culture, society and people and build stable ties to each other. And the Teacher Training Curriculum (1-5; 6-8), prepared by the Ministry of National Education has been examined regarding how much place are given to the "values" and "tolerance". | en_US |
