Endüstri Meslek Liselerinde Stratejik Planlama Öncesi SWOT Analizi Uygulaması

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, endüstri meslek liselerinde stratejik planlama öncesi SWOT analizi ile okulun içinde bulunduğu kritik basan etmenlerini saptamaktır. Araştırma, tarama modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma verileri, Kütahya Atatürk Anadolu Teknik ve Endüstri Meslek Lisesi'nde görev yapan 28 öğretmen, bu okulda öğrenim gören 315 öğrenci ve 315 veliye anket uygulanarak toplanmıştır. Ayrıca SWOT analizi için okul kayıtlarından yararlanılmış, öğretmen ve yöneticilerle görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen, öğrenci ve velilerin belirlenen kritik basan etmenleri boyutlannda düşük düzeyde memnuniyete sahip olduklan belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, okulun güçlü ve zayıf yönleriyle fırsat ve tehditleri belirlenmiş, bu verilere göre çeşitli öneriler geliştirilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to determine the critical success factors for the school by SWOT analysis prior to strategic planning in vocational high schools. The research was conducted by the survey method. The research data was gathered by means of a questionnaire filled by 28 teachers working in the school, 315 students of this school and their parents. In addition, administrative recordings were used for SWOT analysis together with the interviews with teachers and managers. According to results, it is concluded that teachers, students and parents have low satisfaction in the dimensions of critical success factors that have been determined. Strenghts and weaknesses; opportunities, and threats of the school were determined according findings and several suggestions were developed.
