dc.description.abstract | Web-based collaborative learning is gaining popularity among educators. Many authors contend that collaboration is one of the most important aspects and potential strengths of web-based learning. Learners of web-based educational systems are spread all around the world and they feel socially isolated. On the other hand, web-based technologies provide ample opportunities for promoting learner collaboration. Through these technologies, learners can be connected to each other so that they interact toward accomplishing mutual goals.
