Yönetim Biliminin Geleceği

Abstract

Büyük bölümüyle Taylor'un açtığı yoldan geliştirilen modern yönetim anlayışlarımız, giderek artan bîr sıklıkla gündeme gelen modalar tarafından tehdit ediliyor. Komplekslik teorisinden üretilen kavram ve anlayışlar, modern yönetim anlayışlarını tehdit eden modalar zincirinin son halkası sayılabilir. Aslında yönetim anlayışları tehdit altında olan tek olgu da değildir. Örneğin tıpta da benzer gelişmeler gözlenebilir. Her ikisi de bilimden çok daha eski olan bu alanlarda bilimsel etiketini gururla taşıyan modern tıp ve yönetim anlayışlarımızın, bilim alanındaki köklü devrimlere sürgit kayıtsız kalabileceği beklenmemelidir.

In this article, future of the administrative science has been discussed. It is pointed out that the modern management approaches that have been mostly based on Taylor's thoughts have been getting threats from the increasing number of popular fashions. The complexity theory originated terms and approaches can be considered as the last ring of the chain of these popular fashions. In fact, the management approaches are not the only phenomenon under these threats. In medical sciences, for instance, similar incidents can be observed. Both medicine and management are older than science. It should not be expected that our modern approaches that carry the label of scientific proudly will stay indifferent before the essential scientific revolutions.
