İnternet eşitsizliği konusunda dijital aktivistlerin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temel konusu mücadelelerini Internet üzerinde sürdüren Dijital Aktivistlerin Internet Eşitsizliği konusunda görüşlerini tespit etmektir. Bilindiği üzere dünyada bütün kaynakların bölüşümünde bir eşitsizlik yatmaktadır. Bu eşitsizlik aynı zamanda bilgisayar ve Internet teknolojilerine sahip olma, bu teknolojilere erişebilme ve faydalanma boyutunda da kendisini göstermektedir. Literatürde Internet Eşitsizliği olarak bilinen bu olgu sadece küresel alanda değil aynı toplum içerisinde yaşayan bireyleri de etkilemektedir. Toplumsal Hareketlerin de teknoloji ile değişmesi ile birlikte günümüzde Dijital Aktivizm adını alan mücadele ve eylem alanını Internet ortamına taşımış, zaman zaman sokağa da inebilen bir yapı ortaya çıkmıştır. Toplumda veya küresel arenada verilen hak mücadelelerini Internet ortamında sürdüren bu grupların Internet Eşitsizliği konusunda tutumları ve Internete ulaşma imkânı olmayan dezavantajlı bireylere ulaşma stratejileri önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışma Dijital Aktivistlerin yukarıda belirtilen olgulara yönelik tutumlarını anlamayı amaçlamaktadır.

The main theme of this work is to identify the opinions of Digital Activists about the Internet inequalities that are driving the struggles on the Internet. As is known, there is an inequality in the distribution of all sources in the world. This inequality is also related to having and accessing and using computer and Internet technologies. This phenomenon, known as Internet inequality in the literature, affects individuals not only in the global arena but also in the same society. Along with the change of social movements with technology, today a structure called Digital Activism has emerged and this structure has moved the struggle and action field to the Internet that can be seen on the street. The attitudes towards Internet Inequality and the strategies of reaching disadvantaged individuals who do not have access to the Internet are important for these groups, who continue their rights struggles in the society or in the global arena on internet. This study aims to understand the attitudes of Digital Activists towards the above mentioned phenomena.
