dc.description.abstractIn this paper, an application of the trigonometric B-splines is presented so that a collocation method based on the trigonometric cubic B-spline function is developed to obtain numerical solutions of the RLW equation. To assess the accuracy of the method, numerical solitary wave solutions and conserved quantities are compared with both analytical solutions and some previous results. Propagation, undulation and generation of the solitary waves have been studied to exhibit the true solitary wave behaviors.en_US
